[t.a.]In 1988 Ben van Berkel and Caroline Bos have opened together, in Amsterdam, the study involved Van Berkel & Bos Architectuurbureau, creating works in the Netherlands such as: the power REMU (1989-93) and the office building Karbouw (1990-92 ), in Amersfoort, the Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam (1990-96), the Museum Het Valkhof in Nijmegen and Arnhem railway station (1995-99), the Möbius House in Het Gooi (1993-98) and the Research Center nuclear NMR, University of Utrecht (1996-2001). In 2001, the study Berkel & Bos won the international competition for the restructuring of the industrial area around the Ponte Parodi in Genoa, and, in 2002, one for the new Mercedes Benz museum in Stuttgart. Are currently being drawn up the plans for the theater of music in Graz, Austria, and for the upgrading of the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford, Connecticut. In 1998, Berkel and Bos have based UN Studio (United Net), creating an international network of multidisciplinary collaborators to develop projects to large scale planning, public works and urban infrastructure
