Currently lives and works in Japan and France
1961 graduated from Nihon University, Department of Philosophy, Tokyo
1969 leads the movement called Mono-h, which attrackted different artists who untill this day were following the foto-method optical illusion
1973 Professor at Tama Art University in Tokyo (untill 2003)
1997 Invited Professor at Ecole National Supérieur des Beaux-Arts, Paris
