Mario Botta
[t.a.]Ticinese, born in 1943, began his work as an architect working with Carlo Scarpa, Le Corbusier and Louis Kahn. His architectural language, the first houses in Ticino, the Maison du Livre, de l'Image et du Son of Villeurbanne up at the Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco, was described as "simple, archaic, eternal, made of bare evidence and intense sensations "(F.
