
Franco Sargiani
[t.a.]Architect, born in Modena in 1940, graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Politecnico di Milano. After a first experience at Studio Morassutti and several stages abroad, particularly in England, Sweden, Finland and Denmark, where it comes into contact with some of the best centers of design and production of those countries, beginning in the profession Autonomous opening a Studio in Milan. Its operations range from architecture to architecture civil and industrial interiors, from design to the corporate image, the latter often in collaboration with Eija Helander. He has taught industrial and visual design at the Scuola Politecnica di Design and directed by Nino Di Salvatore. He collaborated with many other companies, including Alessi, Fantini, Filasp, Fidenza Vetraria, Inda, Emicar, Sipe. His projects have been published in books and journals, were selected for the Golden Compass and have been presented in numerous museums, including the Beaboug in Paris, the Metropolitan Museum in New York, the Museum of Modern Art New York, the Tel Aviv Art Museum, the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro, the Museum of Applied Art in Helsinki, the Kunst Museum in Dusseldorf, the Triennale di Milano, etc. His achievements are in the permanent collections of the Milan Triennial, the Museo de Arte de Sao Paolo in Brazil, Kunstgewerbemuseum SMPK of Berlin at the Kunstmuseum in Dusseldorf and Deushes Kungenmuseum of Solingen in Germany.
