Spoon for tea bag "Tèo" design Lucy.D, 2011
The designer Karin Santorso (LUCY.D Studio) was a suggested to me by Ewa Esterhazy from the Museum fur Angewandte Kunst in Vienna. As often happens with young people tryng to make a name for themselves in theworld, Austrian Karin has set her sights high, attempting to innovate, in however small a fashion, on the typology of the tea spoon. And she has done it! In addition to its normal function, "Tèo" makes it possible, once the tea is ready, to remove the bag from the cup and gently squeeze it, pulling it up through the hollow handle.
